I am a former patient of Dr. Kempf and was hesitant of continuing with the practice when Hudec Dental and Dr. Kun took over, however my experience was just as good, if not better! Thanks Hudec!
Dr. Kempf, retired, and sold to Hudec Dental. Dr. Kempf was great for many many years: his replacement Dr. Kuhn was nice too but left within a year to pursue another position out of state, the long time secretary and dental hygienist also left abruptly within the last 3-4 months. I feel Hudec is way more expensive on their fees, but they do offer dental insurance you can purchase to cover some of it. They wanted over $3500 to do a crown. New dentist, Dr. Elbert I met today is okay, but he hasn't done any work for me yet. It's not like it used to be. I sent 4 payments. Somehow the 3rd August payment I sent by online banking took them 2 months to cash and the 4th payment sent by online banking in September got lost, not yet cashed as of November, so trying to straighten that out now. The old staff/billing seemed to run like a well oiled machine and really enjoyed working together, had a good re pore with clients, worked with clients of keeping costs down, and less "corporate" environment. When "corporate" gets involved it isn't always best for the consumer I think. I do believe your services will probably be ok if you go though, as long as you can afford them.
