Terrible service. Cut my assistance twice for no reason. I submitted all my paperwork and everything. Then to find out someone filled out my paperwork wrong and then screwed me over for the month. I have two kids! I can't even afford to feed them because of their bullshit. They are rude when I come in and talk to them. They have u on the phone on hold for hours. This place has u running around with ur head cut off. Please help the people! We need the help! We are good hardworking people! We shouldn't get treated lower than dirt!
What makes NO sense is the fact that both of those payments he owed for 2 previous months. I don't understand why it would be set in some account elsewhere when I should have already received it.
I agree with all you ladies on here. They are the WORST, all the way down to Columbus where I have already tried to file a complaint. Let me tell you, don't waste your time or energy. I have been caught up in this circus of a child support system for over 18 years. And yes I have been belittled, hung up on, and basically told I had no common sense because I came to this agency for help, and I didn't know all the correct "rules" which they seem to have ALOT of. They have a reason why everything happens or should I say, doesn't happen. I think that 22,000.00 behind in child support for a working father that ownes his own business should NOT be let go. But of course, it is. I wish you all luck.
I understand that there are guidelines and rules that are put in place for the employees to assist the families. The first appointment I had there for my son, he was 10 months old and his father lied about his income. I about blew a gasket!! I do NOT behave like that in public nor do I get loud or treat another human being with disrespect BUT.. he was never questioned, just believed?!? Then, again, while he worked as a Building Inspector for the city of Sheffield-Sheffield Lake, for 2 years, he made $60,000 and continued to pay his $114 a month!
HORRIBLE AS USUAL. THIS SYSTEM NEEDS CHANGED AND SO DOES THE PEOPLE THEY HIRE. THEY ARE RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, THEY ARE NOT THERE TO HELP BUT TO BELITTLE YOU.
Lorain County is the WORST ppl to go through for any benefits. Cleveland is better than them & they handle more ppl.
A couple of times, he had to mail in the payment. Twice last year, 2 separate months, I received nothing. He told me that since he started working again and it was coming right out of his bi-weekly paycheck, that the 2 payments he mailed in, within 2 days of each other, had been deposited into an escrow type of account?!?
